Racing Pride partner with us on Equality and Diversity in Sport eLearning course

We’re pleased to announce we have partnered with Racing Pride for our Equality and Diversity in Sport online course created for Sport National Governing Bodies (NGBs), associations, and clubs.

Racing Pride, developed alongside Stonewall UK in 2019, is an innovative movement to positively promote LGBTQ+ inclusivity and to challenge negative stereotypes and misconceptions through the platform of motorsport.

The aim of the course is to help people understand the challenges faced daily by many coaches, athletes, and sports personnel, from different backgrounds, and how these can be overcome.  The course uses a range of case studies, including Racing Pride’s co-founder Richard Morris, and covers various approaches to learning to ensure that the content is accessible to all candidates.

Richard Morris, Founder and of Racing Pride says, “I’m delighted to say that Racing Pride is supporting the new Equality and Diversity in Sport eLearning course available through Accelerate Sport, developed by eCoach.”

The Equality and Diversity in Sport course is the first Sport-focused eLearning course to launch on eCoach’s Accelerate Sport online training platform and compromises of four lessons focusing on definitions, terminology, the Equality Act, as well as how to create an action plan for your Sport and put the training into practice.

There will be a short assessment at the end of the course to test your knowledge and an optional webinar-based session following course completion. Learners will also receive a digital certificate and CIMSPA accreditation for their continued professional development.

Lindsey Chaplain, equality training consultant and Equality and Diversity in Sport course author says, “My idea behind this course was to make it as interactive and fun as we possibly could, and we’ve been really fortunate to meet some incredible people along the way like Richard from Racing Pride, that has added a really diverse aspect to the training. It makes it engaging, and fun, and hopefully you’ll get a lot out of their case studies.”

Purchase price per license is £20, with discounts available for bulk purchases for your association or club. Visit the website here to find out more and click here to purchase the Equality and Diversity in Sport eLearning course.
